| Sub Floor Preparation Depending on type and condition of sub
floor, a mechanical treatment (e.g. mechanical brushing, grinding with sand
paper size 16, milling or ball blasting) is required. Intensity of such work
needs to be determined at site. Dust, paint, residual adhesives or other
surface pollution must be removed by suitable means. We recommend to clean the
surface with an industrial vacuum cleaner. If not constructionally required,
cracks and gaps must be filled with concrete crack filler CCF-30 and floor
brackets. To improve the adhesion of dispersion based adhesives the sub floor
should be primed with a suitable primer. If required, evenness and absorption
ability of the sub floor must be generated by leveling with STAUF leveling
compound FLC-500. A primer is generally required on floors with
sub floor heating systems.
